A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA' CALIFORNIA, APPROVING MILLS
ACT AGREEMENT NO. 94-01 (ARTICLE 12, SECTION 50280
OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE) FOR THE
HISTORIC LANDMARK PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9324 SAN
BERNARDINO ROAD, APN: 209-111-09
WHEREAS, both the owner and City desire to protect and preserve such property so
as to retain its characteristic of historical significance.
A. Recitals.
1. The owner of the subject property, Cucamonga Service Club, has requested
implementation of a Mills Act (Article 12, Section 50280 of the California Government Code).
2. Designation of the subject property as an Historic Landmark is a requirement prior to
proceeding with the initiation of the Mills Act.
3. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga designated the subject property as an
Historic Landmark on September 16, 1992.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. This Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part "A,"
of this Resolution are true and correct.
2. The parties in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions set forth herein the
attached marked Exhibits "1," "A," "B," "B-l," and "C" are agreed upon.
3. The City Council approves the Mills Act Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "1."
4. The City of Rancho Cucamonga has accepted to enter into an agreement (contract) with
the property owner, thus initiating the Mills Act.
