~ TO IANBSCAP-E MA]~T~%~N(~ DISTRICT NO. 3B AND
STREET LI~TING ~CE DISTRICT NO~. 1 AND 6 FOR
DEVELOPM~REVI]~93-20
WH~EAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho O~3a,
Califoxnia, has previously fc~med a special ~ d~-~trict pursuant to
the terms of the "La~ing and Lighting Act of 1972", being Divisio~ 15,
Part 2 of the Streets an~ Highways Code of the State of Califox~%ia, said
District No. 3B, Street Lighting ~.ntenanoe District No. i and Street
Light/ng Maintenance District No. 6 (hereinafte~ referred to as the
'~4aintenance District"); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 2 of the ,,Tandscaping
and Lighting ALPC of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional territory to
the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, at this time the City Oouncil is desirous to take
prooeed/ngs to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
WH~AEAS, all of the owners of pr~withinthe territory proposed
to beannexedtotheMaintenanceDistricthavefiledwiththeCityClerktheir
written consent to the proposed annexation without notice and hearing or
filing of an ~x3ineer's '~eport".
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAN(~{O ~
HER~Y~L~ ~~:
S~CTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
S~CrION 2: That t_his le~isltive body hereby uxders the annexation
of the property as shown in Exhibit "A" and the work program ar~-~ as
described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenance District.
S~CTION 3: That all future proceedings of the Maintenance
District, including the levy of all a.~~nts, shall be applicable to the
PASSED, APPROVe), and ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 1994.
