HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-152 - ResolutionsRESOLUI~NO. 94-152 ~REAS, Caltra~ desires to construct a $140 millic~ Freeway to Freeway Interc~angeo~Interstate 15 andRoute 30; ar~ ~REAS, this project includes local interc~ c~ 1-15 at ~m~{t and Cherry Avenues on Route 30 and a high occupancy ~hicle ir~ at ~ Avenue; and WHEREAS, the prc~ Interchange has been a major circulation ~t to future local traffic plans; and WHEREAS, Rancho Cucamongawillbenefit frc~theproposed ~ WHerEAS, because the City's approval is necessary to proceed in cxder to acquire rmce~y right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the schedule of right-of-way acquisition nccds to move forward to meet prel'nninary timeframes; and WHfREAS, this project is fully funded with a majority of the funds cc~ng from the State L~e Completion Fund; and ~EAS, this project will not foreclose any options for future Freeway profile designs; and WHfREAS, the City of Fontana has entered into an agreement with the State to proceed to acquire right-of-way; NOW, THfREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follc~s: Section 1: The City will enter into a Freeway to Freeway IRte~ Agreement which will allc~ Caltrans to only -p~-oceed with acquisition of n~c~ry right-of-way for the proposed project; and Resolution No. 94-152 Section 2: This Resolution is not intended as an approval of any design feature (i.e., grade, ~rofile, nor any vertical alignment, or service road location or design) of the ~x~osed Boute 30 Freeway urel'n~inary design; Section 3: This Resolution will not lock in any specific vertical alignment for Route 30.
