Tne City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follc~s: SEL~CION 1: The City Oouncil hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct. StDCTION 2: The City Council of the City of Rancho O~mmonga hereby finds that this mi~htent is es~mhlished and adopted to protect and promote the public health, safety, morals, cc~fort, convenience, and welfare; and more particul=ly: ~esol~tion No. 94-151 1. ~hat the proposed amendment is in conformance with the General Plan of the City of Rancho 2. That the propoeed ~.t~ent is consistent with the Development Code of the City of Rancho O~amonga; 3. That the proposed amendment does not conflict with the Land Use Policies of the General Plan and will provide for development within the district in a manner consistent with the General Plan and with relat~d_ 4. S]~CI~ON 4: The Foothill Boulevard Specific Plan text, Part IV, Sectic~ 9, oc~m~_nc~ on page IV-9.4a, is hereby amended to read as attached, and all lists of permitted and conditionally permitted uses in Subareas 1, 2, 3, and 4 are hereby amended aocordingly. S~CTION 5: The City Council declares that, should any provision, section, para~, sentence, or w~rd of this Resolution be rendered or declared invalid by any final oourt action in a oourt of cc~ jurisdiction, or by re~__son of any preemptive legislation, the remaining provisions, sections, paragraphs, sentences, and words of this Resolution shall remain in full foroe and effect.
