~, the City Council of the City of Rancho ~monga
(hereinafter referred to as "Cit~'), has f~r its co~sideratic~ and execution,
the Oooperative Agreement - State A~ No. 8-786 f~r the design and
co~structic~ traffic o0~trol signals, safety, lightir~ and ~k c~ ~oute
66 at Baker Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Tr~tic~,
District Office 8 (hereinafter referred to as "State") processes and monitors
~{EREAS, as a condition to payment of State funds for said project,
the Local Agency shall approve and exeofoe said COoperative A~ No. 8-
786.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Oouncil of the City of Rancho
does herebyresolveas follows:
Authorize the Execution of City - State Agreement
No. 8-786 for the design and construction of traffic
control signals, safety lighting a~d roadwork on
Route 66 at Baker Avenue.
To authorize the mayor to sign said Agreement and
direct the City Clerk to attach a certified copy of
this Resolution, as w~11 as type in the Resolution
number and date in the blank of the third block of
said supplement and for the return of the original
copies of said supplement to the State of California
Department of Tran~tion along with the
certified cc~y of this resolution.
