~EAS, the City Council of the City of
Califcxnia, b~ ~=eviously for~sd a s~ecial ma{~te~a~e district Dursuant to
the terms of the "T~?ing and Lightir~ ~ of 1972", beir~ Divisic~ 15,
Part 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, said
District No. 3B, Street Lighting Ma~nte~anoe District No. 1 and Street
Lighting ~ District No. 6 (hereinafter referred to as the
'9~aintenanoe District"); and
~EAS, the provisions of Article 2 of fba.~cer 2 of the
"Landscap~ and Lightir~ Act of 1972" authorize the annexatio~ of additional
territory to the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take
prooeedi~gs to annex the property described on Emhibit "A" atta _cb~d___ hereto and
'n~x=p~ra~ herein by this referenced to the Maintenanoe District; and
~REAS, all of the owners of property within the territ__nry ~
to be annexed to the Maintenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
filing of an ~gineer's '~ep~rt".
NOW, ~REFORE, THE CITY ~ OF THE CITY OF ~ CUCAMC~GA
H~Y RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
S~fION 1: That the above recitals are all true and oorrect.
S~fI(IN 2: That this legislative body hereby cx~ers the annexation
of the property as shown in Exhibit "A" and the work prog~,l areas as
described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenanoe District.
SECTION 3: That all future proceed~ of the Maintenanoe District,
includir~ the levy of all a.~e~m~nts, shall be applicable to the territory
