A RESOLUTI~ OF THE CiTY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
WHEREAS, the City of RAncho Odcamonga was incorporated in 1977 and
has since grown and developed into a O~LU~nlity of residents, merchants and
business people dedicated to creating the highest quality of life possible;
WHEREAS, since its incorporation, the City has not hat an official
seal or motto to c~m,unicate to others tb~ quality, the pride, the heritage
and the bright future of our c~,,,unity; and
W~EREAS, this City seal and motto have been created to represent the
past, present and future of the c~um/nity and to proclaim to everyone that
Rancho Cucamonga is "A World Class C~,,,~nity"; and
WHEREAS, it ham been the people of Rancho Cucamonga, those that live
here and those that work here, who have made Rancho cucamonga a quality place
that it is and therefore it is appropriate that the City motto reflect the
importance of the c~ut,unity of people who have worked so hard to make the
Rancho Cucamonga of today.
NOW, ~tEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby adopt an official City Seal as depicted in
Exhibit A and also does hereby adopt the phrase "A World Class C~m~nity" as
the official City Motto.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 1994.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed, approved, and
adopted by the City Oouncil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, at a
regular meeting of said City 0ouncil held on the 19th day of January, 1994.
