~ R~DEVELOPM~T PBCU-~T AND MAKING CErtAIN
FINDINGS IN ~ TH~E10
(i)
The C~mm~nity Redevel~ Law of the State of Califcx~ia (Health
and Safety Code Sections 33000 et seq.) ~ other provisi~
~anting powers to r~]c~ agencies, oc~tair~ Sectic~ 33445
legislative body, may pay all ~r part of the value of ~ for the
cost of the installatic~ and constructic~ of any ~uilding, facility,
structure or other i~ which is publicly owned either within
or without a project area upon a determination by such agency and
such legislative body by resolution that ~___~h build/r~, facility,
structure or other im~ is of benefit to such project area and
that no other _m~_ns of financing the same are available to the
(ii) The officially adopted Rancho R__~1o~ Plan of the Rancho
Cucamor~a RedeveloF~ent A~ency ("this Agency" hereinafter) provides
in part for the construction of o. amL~nity/cultur~l facilities to
serve said project area, which include suc~ projects as the interim
l'~rary facility ("Project" hereinafter).
B. Resolution
NC~, THEREFORE, be it found, determined and resolved by tb~ Oouncil of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga as follc~s:
This Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the R~citals,
Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby consents to the Rancho
R~evelc~ment Agency's fu~4~ng of costs and ~ related to the
Project pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33445.
~his Oouncil hereby specifically finds and determines that the
construction of the Project by and through theAgency's funding will
be ofbenefittotheAgency'sRanchoRedevelo~mentProject.
~nis Council hereby specifically fir~s and determines that no other
reasons_hie means of financing is available to the cum,-u%ity to
construct the Project other than through the Agency's funding thereof
as consented to herein.
5. ~ne City Clerk shall testify to the adoption of this Resolution.
