1979, (~. 282) requ-h-'es that prior to the effective date of any jurisdictional
change, all agencies whose service areas or service responsibilities wuuld be
WHEREAS, it is specified that such jurisdictional change shall becc~
effective only after each affected county and city agrees by resolutiom to
accept a negotiated exchange of property tax revenues; and
WHEREAS, in the event a jurisdictional dmnge affects the service
area or service responsibility of c~e ~r m~re special districts, the Board of
any exchange of property tax revenues on behalf of the di~cricts; and
WHEREAS, the adopting agencies shall notify the County Auditor who
shall adjust the amount of pr~ tax revenue determined for each local
agency whose service area or service responsibility would be altered by such
jurisdictional change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, D~ AND ORD~D as follows:
S~CTION 1. For territory within the ccxporate limits for the City
of Rancho Cucamonga, the County T,ih,-i~'y System's share of property tax rever~
shall be permanently transferred to the City; this amount shall be equal to
one hundred (100%) percent of the amount of property taxes allocated to County
T,ih~ary ~ from the City c~m~n~cing during the fiscal year the
jurisdictional change becomes effective.
S~"TION 2. For all territory sub~m~uently annexed to the City,
the total amount one hundred (100%) peroent of the property taxes allocated to
Oounty T,'Jl,",~'ary Systl~l from the annexation area during the fiscal year the
jurisdictional c/mange becomes effective shall be permanently transferred to
the City.
S~CTION 3. An executed copy of this resolution shall be suhnitted
to the County Auditor-Controller who shall make the appropriate adjustments as
provided in subdivision (a) of Section 99 of the Revenue ad Taxation C~de.
