WHerEAS, the CITY ~ of the CITY OF ~ ~,
CAT.TFORNIA, (hereinaft_e~ referred to as the "legislative body of the local
Agency'), has declared its intentic~ to order the estab~ of a ~ty
Facilities District for certain public facilities pursuant to the terms and
provisions of the '9~ello-Roos (k~m~ty Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter
2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Gove~-~,.~nt Code of the State of
California, ~ing with Section 53311 (the "Act"). This C~m~u%ity
Facilities District shall ~eter be designated as ~ FA~mITES
DISTRICT NO. 93-3 (FOOTHILL ~RKEi~X~) (herinafter refered to as the
"District"); and,
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this legislative body to finanoe all
or a portion of said facilities through the issuance of bor~s, said bo~ds to
be secured by special taxes, all as authorized pursuant to said Act.
NOW, ~EFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follc~s:

S~L'TION 2. ~nat this legislative body declares that the public
convenience and necessity requires that a bo~4_ed i~debtedness be incurred to
finance all or a portion of certain public facilities as proposed for the
designated District.

Foothill Boulevard and Etiwanda Avenue westerly and southerly to Arrow Route;
on-site water improvements within the District; water improv-~ments in Foothill
Boulevard and Etiwar~_a Avenue; a portion of the Arrow Route storm drain
facility, a portion of the Foothill Boulevard and Interstate 15 ir6~_Dchange
S~CTION 4. That the amount of the proposed b~nded 'lndebtedx~ss,
including the cost of the facilities, together with all incidental expenses,
contingencies and financing costs is generally estimated to be:
$5,100,000.00

DISTRICT BY THE LEVY OF A ~ TAX. AT THE TIME AND PLACE FI)D~ FOR SAID

DISTRICT.
SECTION 6. That notice of the time and place of the public
hearing shall be given by the City Clerk in the following manner:
A. A Notice of Public Hearing shall be published in
the legally designated newspaper of general circulation, being the INLAND
V~TLRy D~T~.Y B%m.LRITN, said publication pursuant to Section 6061 of the
Gove~m~-~ Code, with said publication to be completed at least seven (7) days
prior to the date set for the public hearing.
B. A Notice of Public Hearing shall be mailed,
postage prepaid, to each property ~ within the boundaries of the proposed
District; said mailing to the property owners shall be to the address as shown
on the last equalized asses~_rfc roll. Said mailing shall be cc~pleted at
least fifteen (15) days prior to the date set for the public hearing.
