HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-061 - ResolutionsNO ACTION TAKEN RESOLUTION NO. 93-061 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO OF OC~R~0NITY DEVELO~ OBJ]DCTIVES AND S~ .FCTING DEVELO~ BLOCK GRANT PRDGRAM FOR PROGRAM YEAR 1993-94. WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is an Entitlement City under the regulations governing the C~mmanity Development Block Grant WHEREAS, City staff has received proposals for projects and programs from various organizations in the Co~m.unity; and WHEREAS, City staff has conducted a needs assessment to determine program eligibility and needs; and WHEREAS, the City released a Preliminary Statement of Conwmanity Development Objectives indicating all program and projects submitted for Block Grant funding in thenextprogramyear; and WHEREAS, on March 17, 1993, the City Council held a legally noticed public hearing in order to give the public an opportunity to respond to staff's reco~m¥~ndations for program funding and to put forth for Council's consideration recommendations of their own; and WHEREAS, the City Council heard public testimony and received all public input regarding the City's Community Development Block Grant Program for the next program year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California does hereby take the following actions: Determine that operation of the Housing Rehabilitation and Historic Preservation Incentive Programs in the flood plain are the most practical and desirable of the alternatives and the proposed mitigationmeasures are sufficient.
