A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO FORM
STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 6 (COMMERCIAL AND
INDUSTRIAL AREAS), PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND
LIGHTING ACT OF 1972
WHEREAS, on June 17, 1987, this City Council adopted Resolution No. *
proposing the formation of an assessment district to be known as "Street
Lighting Maintenance District No. 6" for the purpose of maintaining certain
street lighting improvements to be located within said assessment district; and
WHEREAS, on June 17, 1987 this City Council preliminarily approved an
Engineer's Report with respect to said "Street Lighting Maintenance District
No. 6" and caused said Engineer's Report to be filed in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga; and
WHEREAS, this City Council desires to form Street Lighting Maintenance
District No. 6 for the maintenance of certain street lighting improvements to
be located herein.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: This City Council hereby declares its intention to order
the formation of an assessment district to be known as "Street Lighting
Maintenance District No. 6" for the purpose of maintaining certain street
lighting improvements therein and to levy and collect assessments pursuant to
the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
SECTION 2: The street lighting improvements to be maintained within
the boundaries of Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 6 are more
particularly described in Exhibit "A: attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference.
SECTION 3: The general location of Street Lighting Maintenance
District No. 6 is more particularly described on the diagram attached as
"Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 4: Reference is hereby made to the Engineer's Report on file
with the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga for a full detailed
description of the boundaries of Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 6 and
the proposed assessments upon assessable lots and of land within said
assessment district.

SECTION 5: This City Council hereby sets the date, time and place of
a public hearing on the formation of Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 6
to be as fol 1 ows:

TIME: 7:30 p.m.
PLACE: City Council Chambers at 9161 Base Line Road
