A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT FOR
REPLACEMENT OF OVERHEAD WITH UNDERGROUND DISTRIBUTION
FACILITIES FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has requested to replace
Southern California Edison Company's existing overhead facilities with
underground distribution facilities along Arrow Route between the Cucamonga
Creek Channel and Baker Avenue and in conjunction with the Baker Avenue and
Arrow Route Storm Drain and Street Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, Edison Company and the City are in mutual accord with the
conditions specified in the attached Agreement for Replacement of Overhead with
Underground Distribution Facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, California, that said Agreement for Replacement of Overhead
with Underground Distribution Facilities be hereby approved and accepted, and
authorize the Mayor to execute the same, and direct the City Clerk to attach a
certified copy of this Resolution to the duplicate original copies of said
Agreement and mail said copies to Southern California Edison Company for their
execution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1987.
