RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
FOR REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT NO. I FOR THE RANCHO
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Rancho Cucamonga Redevel opment Agency ( "Agency" ) has
prepared the Redevelopment Plan Amendment No. I for the Rancho Redevelopment
Project ("Redevelopment Plan") and has filed its Report on the Redevelopment
Plan with the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga ("City Council");
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has
approved and forwarded to the Agency its report and recommendation that the
proposed Redevelopment Plan is in conformity with the General Plan of the City
of Rancho Cucamonga
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly given, the City Council and the
Agency have held a full and fair, joint public hearing on the proposed
Redevelopment Plan and Final EIR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
Section 1. A full and fair public hearing having been held on the
Final EIR and the City Council having considered all comments received thereon,
said Final EIR is hereby approved and adopted as the Final EIR for the adoption
of the Redevelopment Plan, and the Final EIR is hereby incorporated herein by
reference.
Section 2. The City Council hereby certifies that the Final EIR for
the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan has been completed in compliance with
the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, and state and
local environmental guidelines and regulations, and that it has reviewed and
considered the Final EIR and the information contained therein in connection
with the adoption of the proposed Redevelopment Plan.
Section 3. The City Council hereby adopts and incorporates by
reference Agency Resolution No. RA 87-008, a copy of which is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A".
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a
Notice of Determination pursuant to 14 California Administrative Code Section
15094.
