A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT INITIAL STUDY, AND ISSUANCE OF A NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR THE PROPOSED ARCHIBALD AVENUE REALIGNMENT
AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act requires governmental
agencies to develop standards and procedures, and to consider alternatives of
all proposed actions affecting the environment on all public agency projects,
such as this Archibald Realignment and Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Assessment Initial Study has been prepared for
the said project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, as
amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has for its
consideration all the available input and has reviewed same concerning the
proposed Archibald Avenue Realignment and Improvement Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
approves the Environmental Assessment Initial Study and issuance of a
Negative Declaration for the proposed Archibald Avenue Realignment and
Improvement Project.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of Determination
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 1987.
