A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA TO AWARD AND EXECUTE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH PSOMAS & ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE BENCH MARK
AND HORIZONTAL CONTROL NETWORKS AND AERIAL AND GEOBASE
MAPPING OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA AND SURROUNDING
AREAS
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga desires to obtain accurate bench
marks and aerial photography suitable for preparing photo mosaic maps,
topographic base map sheets, as well as digital data base of several layers
of information for_-the City's Geographic Information System; and
WHEREAS, an engineering, surveying and planning firm, Psomas &
Associates, specializing in the fields of surveying, mapping and Geographic
Information Systems have, in response to a Request for Proposal, indicated
desire to perform such services and determined to meet the needs of the
subject project in providing a high level of technical service, experienced
project management and qualified and experienced staff for a fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga does resolve to award and execute the Professional Services
Agreement between the City of Rancho Cucamonga and Psomas & Associates for
the Preparation of Bench Marks and Horizontal Control Networks Survey, and
Aerial and Geobase Mapping of the City of Rancho Cucamonga including its
surrounding areas for a fee not to exceed $510,000.00.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 1987.
