A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA TO AWARD AND EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH HACKETT AND KRANZER, INC. TO PREPARE
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES FOR THE
REHABILITATION OF VINEYARD AVENUE FROM ARROW ROUTE TO
FOOTHILL BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga desires to have
prepared construction plans, specifications and estimates for the Rehabilita-
tion of Vineyard Avenue from Arrow Route to Foothill Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, Hackett & Kranzer, Inc., by submitting a proposal letter in
response to a request for proposals from the City, has submitted evidence of
qualification and is willing to perform such services for a fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga to accept, award and otherwise execute a Professional Services
Agreement with Hackett & Kranzer, Inc. for the preparation of construction
plans, specifications and estimates for the Rehabilitation of Vineyard Avenue
from Arrow Route to Foothill Boulevard in the amount of $14,500.00 to be paid
from System Development Funds.
IN ADDITION, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga to establish a contingency fund of 10% of the amount of said
agreement or $1,450.00 to be used in the event of extra work or change order,
to be administered by staff.
