A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND EXECUTING
THE COST AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA AND THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND
SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY FOR THE PROPOSED WIDENING OF
GROVE AVENUE AT THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
RAILWAY CROSSING DESIGNATED PUBLIC UTILITIES
COMMISSION CROSSING NO. 2-99.7, NORTH OF EIGHTH (8TH)
STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga (hereinafter
referred to as "City"), has for its consideration and execution the Cost and
Maintenance Agreement to be executed by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railway Company (hereinafter referred to as "Santa Fe"), for the widening
improvements on Grove Avenue at Santa Fe's railway crossing (No. 299.7)
located north of 8th Street; and
WHEREAS, Santa Fe and the City are in mutual accord with the conditions
specified in the attached Cost and Maintenance Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California, that said Cost and Maintenance Agreement be hereby
approved and accepted, and authorize the Mayor to execute the same, and
direct the City Clerk to attach a certified copy of this Resolution to the
duplicate original copies of said Agreement and mail said copies to the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company for their execution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1987.
