A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
~JCAMOM3A, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING AND ADOPTING A FEE
S (]~E1)ULE PERTAINING ~D THE fDNSTRUCTION OF THE HAVEN
AVENUE MEDIAN FROM ARROW ROUTE TO I9TH STREET WITHIN THE
CITY OF RANCliO CUCAMONGA
WHEREAS. the City of Rancho Cucamonga is constructins a landscaped
median within Haven Avenue from Arrow Route to 19th Street: and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined by Resolution No. 87-491 that
future development shall contribute tceard the cost of said medianl and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that it is necessary to establish
methods to equltably share said cost among those benefited by said
improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of.
Rancho Cucamonge, that staff, Committees and Commissions require, as a
condition of approveS of an~ development, a contribution in lieu of the
construction for said landscaped median and such contribution sheSl be an
amount equal to $57.00 per linear foot of property fronting on Haven Avenue.
Corner property frontages shall be measured to the prolongation of the ultimate
right-of-way of the side street.
Payment of said contribution shall be made prior to building permit issuance or
recordation of the Tract or Parcel Map, whichever occurs first.
The unit contribution amount shall automatically be increased on a fiscal year
basis by the Prime Interest Rate as determined at the beginning of each fiscal
year.
PASSED, APFROVED, and ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1987.
