A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
O3CAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE OF WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 1987 FOR THE
MILLIKEN AVENUE GRADE SEPARATION ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
REVIEW
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucemonga has reviewed
the "Preliminary Engineering and Env iror~nental Studies for Rail road Grade
Separation on Milliken Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, California" dated August, 1987
as prepared by DeLeuw Cather and Company and Engineers and PlannersZ and
WHEREAS. the City Council has directed the City's Engineering staff
and DeLeuw Cather to proceed with formal designs for an undercrossing at the
proposed grade separationZ and
WHEREAS, said design grade separation requires an Environmental
AssessmentZ and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Assessment has been' prepared pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
approves and sets a public hearing date of Wednesday, September 16, 1987 at
7:30 p.m. to be held at the Lions Park Community Canter. 9161 Base Line Road.
Rancho Cucamonga. California for the Milliken Avenue Grade Separation
Environmental Assessment Review~ and
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is directed to submit the attached City of
Rancho Cucamonga Environmental Assessment Notice for advertisement prior to
said public hearing date pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) requirements.
PASSED. APPROVED, and ADOFrED this 2nd day of September. 1987.
