A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCliO
CUCANONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT AND ISSUANCE OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE
PROPOSED TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND SAFETY LIGHTING AT SIX (6)
LOCATIONS BEING: HAVEN AVENUE AT JERSEY BOULEVARD, AT
6TH STREET, AND AT CIVIC CENTER DRIVE; CARNELIAN STREET
AT VINEYARD AVENUE AND AT RED HILL COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE;
BASE LINE ROAD AT SPEUCE AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Cit~ Council of the Cit~ of Rancho CucsmonSa has revised
all available input concerninS the proposed Traffic SiSnals sad Safety
LiShtinS: and
WHEREAS, said improvements require an Environmental AssesementI sad
WHEREAS, an Environmental Assessment Initial Stud7 has been prepared
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, as amended.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Rancho CucamonSa does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamon2a hereby
approves the Environmental Assessment Initial Study and issuance of a NaSatire
Declaration for the proposed construction of Traffic SiSnels and Safety
LiShtlnS at Six (6) locations beinS: Haven Avenue at Jersey Boulevard. at 6th
Street, and at Civic Canter Drivel Camelisa Street at Vineyard Avenue and at
Red Hill Country Club Drivel Base Line Road at Spruce Avenue.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice Determination
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
