A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCliO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA. ESTABLISHIh~ AND ADOPTING A FEE
SCHEDULE PERTAINING TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HAVEN
AVENUE MEDIAN FROM 4TH STREET TO ARRC~ ROUTE WITHIN THE
CITY OF RANCHO OUCAMONGA
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is constructin~ a landscaped
median within Haven Avenue from 4th StreeE to Arrow RouteJ and
WH~REA~, the City Council has determined by Resolution No. 87-491 that
future development shall contribute toward the cost of said medianJ and
~FHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that it is necessary to establish
methods to equitably share said cost among those benefited by said
improvements.
NCI4, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, California, that staff, Committees and Commissions require,
as a condition of approval of any development, a contribution in lieu of the
construction for said landscaped median and such contribution shell be an
amount equal to $55.00 per linear foot of property fromring on Haven Avenue.
Coruer property frontages shall be measured to the prolongation of the ultimate
right-of-way of the side street.
Payment of said contribution shall be made prior to building permit
issuance or recordation of the Tract or Parcel Map, whichever occurs first.
The unit contribution amount shell automatically be increased on a
fiscal year basis by the Prime Interest Rate as determined at the beginning of
each fiscal year.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 4th day of November, 1987.
