A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANC~O
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORN~ APPROVING DEVELOPMENT CODE
AMENDMENT 87-01 ADDIN~ SECTION 17.04.080 TO THE
DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF RANCliO C~CA~ONGA
PERTAINING TO STATE MANDATED RECYCLING CENTERS WITHIN
C0MMERCIA~ AND OFFICE ZONES
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of September. 1987, the Planning Commission
held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the
California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of October, 1987, the City Council held a
duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Ci~7 Council finds it necessary to clarify and revise the
Development Code reSulations pertaining to State mandated recTcling
centers.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucsmonga City Council finds that the proposed
Development Code Amendment 87-01 is an implementation of the General Plan goals
and policies and that the General Plan Environmental Impact Report adequately
covers any potential significant adverse impacts. Further, the City Council
finds that no subsequent or supplemental environmental impact report is
required pursuant to Division 13, Chapter 6, Section 21166 of the Public
Resources Code. Specifically, the City Council finds:
A. No substantial changes are proposed in any gos/s or
policies which would require major revisions to the
EIR.
B. No substantial changes have occurred with respect to
the circumstances under which the pxoject is being
undertaken.
C. No new information on the proj act has become
available.
SECTION 2: The Rancho eucamonga City Council has found that this
project will not create a significant adverse impact on the environment and
issues e Negative Declaration on November 18, 1987.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the City Council of
the Cit7 of Rancho Cucamonga hereby approves
Development Code Amendment 87-01, and approval of the
Ordinance Section 17,04.080 attached hereto marked as
"Exhibit Aw and ' incorporated herein by this
reference.
2. The City Council hereby approves and adopts
Development Code Amendment 87-01 as stated herein.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 1987.
