A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
CITY ENGINEER TO SEND A NOTICE OF INTENT TO
PURCHASE PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF MULBERRY
STREET, SOUTH OF THE 210 FREEWAY AND WEST OF
ETIWANDA CREEK CHANNEL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, has
for its consideration an Offer to Sell Excess Land, located on the east side of Mulberry Street
south of the 210 Freeway and west of Etiwanda Channel, from the California Department of
Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to gain possession of said property for the purpose
of providing secondary emergency access to landlocked property on the east side of Day Creek
Channel; and
WHEREAS, a development has already been approved with a condition of
approval to obtain access to Fisher Drive across said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, hereby resolves, that the City Engineer is hereby authorized to send a Notice of
Intent to Purchase said property on behalf of the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
