A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
INITIAL STUDY PARTS I AND II AND ISSUANCE OF A
CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION FOR THE PROPOSED WIDENING AND
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
RAILROAD CROSSING (PUC NO. 2-96.7) ON HAVEN AVENUE NORTH
OF 8TH STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has
reviewed all available input concerning the Proposed Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company Crossing Widening and Improvements; and
WHEREAS, said Widening and Improvements require an Environmental
Assessment; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Assessment Initial Study has been prepared
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of Rancho Cucamonga approves the
Environmental Assessment Initial Study and Issuance of a Categorical Exemption
for the Proposed Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Crossing Improvements
(PUC No. 2-96.7) on Haven Avenue north of 8th Street.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of Exemption
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 1990.
