HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-467 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 90-467 A RESOI/7i~ON OF ~]{E CITY ODL~ OF ~]{E CITY OF RANCHO ~, OOUNTY OF SAN BERNARD]lqO, STATE OF CAI~FORNIA, DIXI[ARING ITS INTI']qTION TO VACATE A PORtioN OF STRANG IANE ~ EAST OF CARN]~.T~N S~]~-T, APPROIfIMATELY 30 FEET WIDE AND 352 FEET LK~qG - APN: 1076-271-08 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Ommcil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve as follc~s: SIDCITON 1: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Ode, also known as the Street Vacatio~ Act of 1941. s~crIoN 2: That the City Council he~ declares its intention to vacate a portion of Strang T~ne located east of Carnelian Street, a City street approximately 30 feet wide and 352 feet long, as shown on Map No. V-100 on file in the Office of the City Clerk, a legal description of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof. S~fION 3: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 2nd day of January, 1991, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council <~mmmbers, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time and place for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation for the purpose of its determining whether said City street is necessary for present or prospective street purposes. S~iTION 4: ~nat the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices to be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at least 15 days before the hearing, not more than 300 feet apart and not less than three signs shall be posted, each of which shall have a copy of this resolution on them ard shall have the following title in lettering not less than one inch in height: "NOTICE OF HEARING TO VACATE STREETI! . SECTION 5: Tb~ subject %racation shall be subject to the reservations and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record. StaTION 6: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause same to be published 10 days before the date set for the hearing, at least once in Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, a ~per of general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
