A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING THE VACATION OF
ORflt~RD A~ FROM TERRA VISTA PARKWAY EAST TO APPROXI-
MATELY 220 FEET SO~STERLY - APN: 227-151-27
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8330, of the Streets a~d
Highway Code, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized
to surmm3rily vacate a portion of the City Street hereinafter more particularly
described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found all the evidence submitted that
Orchard Avenue from Terra Vista Parkway East to approximately 220 feet
southwesterly in the Terra Vista Planned Community is unnecessary for present
or prospective public street purposes because they have been superceded by
relocation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: That the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
makes its order vacating that portion of street on Map V-094 on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been
further described in a legal description ~nich is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A", and by reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded,
said Orchard Avenue from Terra Vista Parkway East to Approximately 220 feet
southwesterly no longer constitutes a street or public utility easement.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1991.
