A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY O0~NCIL OF ~E CITY OF RAN(~0

D~2LARING ITS ~ON TO VACATE A PORTION OF 25TH
STREET LOCAT~DWEST OF ETIWANDAAV~KIE, APPROXIMATELY 30

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as
follows:
S~iTION 1: That the city Council hereby elects to proceed under
Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Oode, also known as the
Street Vacation Act of 1941.
S~CTION 2: That the City Council hereby declares its intention to
vacate a portion of 25th Street located w~st of Etiwanda Ave~_e, a City street
approximately 30 feet wide and 1092 feet long, as shown on Map No. V-115 on
file in the Offioe of the City Clerk, a legal description of which is attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof.
S~CTION 3: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 18th
day of September, 1991, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, located at
10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time and place
for hearing all persons objecting to the ~posed vacation for the purpose of
its determining whether said City street is necessary for present or
SECTION 4: ~hat the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices
to be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof
proposed to be vacated at least 10 days before the hearing, not more than 30
feet apart and not less than three signs shall be peaced, each of which shall
have a copy of this resolution on them and shall have the following title in
lettering not less than one inch in height: '9~TICE OF HEARING TO VACATE
S~2TION 5: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations
and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record. ~
S~2TION 6: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk
shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause same to be publ~
10 days before the date set for the hearing, at least once in Inland Valley
Daily Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of
Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California.
