A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
~, COUNTY OF SAN B~NARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING TO BE VA~, A PORTION OF AN AT,~.RY I~
WEST OF MALACHITE AV~qUE AND SOUTH OF ~~. BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 91-132, passed on May 15, 1991, the
Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga declared its intention to vacate a
portion of a City alley hereinafter mote particularly described, and set the
b~r of 7:00 p.m. on June 19, 1991, in the City Council Chambers, located at
10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time and place
for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, such public hearing has been held at said time and place,
and there were no protests, oral or written, to such vacation.
NC~, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SfL~U/ON 1: The Council hereby finds all the evidence suhnitted that
a portion of an alley located west of Malachite Avenue and south of Foothill
Boulevard is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes,
and the City Council hereby makes its order vacating that portion of said City
street as shown on Map No. V-105 on file in the office of the Clerk of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been further described in a legal descrip-
tion which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by reference made a
S~2TION 2: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations
and exceptions, if any, set forth in Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto and
by reference made a part hereof.
S~CTION 3: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Ber~ County,
California.
SECTION 4: The Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.

"ALLEY VACATION"
The south 10.00 feet of the following described Parcel of Land:
That portion of the northeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of section
10, township 1 south, range 7 west, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, being a portion of said northeast 1/4 of Section 10,
marked "Martinovich" as shown on map of Cucamonga Lands, as per
plat recorded in book 4 of Maps, page 9, records of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said northeast 1/4 of the
northeast 1/4 of said Section 10; thence south 00° 03' 12" east,
331.04 feet to the northwest corner of Tract No. 5121, as per plat
recorded in book 64 of Maps, page 18, records of said County;
thence north 89° 59' 07" east, 144.82 feet to the center line of
Malachite Avenue, as shown on said map of Tract No. 5121; thence
north 00° 03' 52" west, 331.02 feet to the north line of Section
10; thence south 89° 59' 30" west, 144.78 feet to the point of
beginning.
Excepting therefrom that portion conveyed to the County of San
Bernardino, a body corporate and politic, by deed recorded December
30, 1960 in book 5317, page 1, Official Records.
