A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAN~{O
~, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND SEITING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE OF W~I)NESDAY, JULY 3, 1991, FOR THE PROPOSED
OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD ~ ASSESSM~Ff REVI~
WHEREAS, the City Council ba~ directed the City's Engineering Staff
and DGA Consulting Engineers to proceed with formal designs for the Improve-
merit of Haven Avenue from 4th Street to north of Foothill Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, said proposed improvement requires an Environmental
Assessment; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared pursuant to
the California Environmental Quality Act, as amended.
NOW, ~/~5~ORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: ~ne City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
approves and sets a public hearing date of Wednesday, July 3, 1991, at 7:00
p.m. to be held at the City of Rancho Cucamonga, City Council C~%ambers, 10500
Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California for the Haven Avenue Rehabi-
litation Project Environmental Assessment Review.
S~CTION 2: ~ne City Clerk is directed to sutm~t the attached City of
Rancho Cucamonga Environmental Assessment Notice for advertisement to the
Daily Bulletin by Wednesday, June 12, 1991, for a one-time publication on
Friday, June 21, 1991, ten calendar days prior to said public hearing date
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (C~DA) requirements.

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT NOTICE
A complete Environmental Assessment has been prepared for the following
project. The City Council will be considering these assessments, staff's
recommendation, and public input, at their meeting of July 3, 1991, prior
to making a final environmental determination.
Following is a brief description and location of the project and staff's
recommendation on the project to be considered.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PROPOSED HAVEN
AVENUE REHABILITATION PROJECT - CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA - The project
which begins at 4th Street terminating at Foothill Boulevard consists in
general of widening the street to three (3) lanes in each direction;
overlaying the existing pavement, striping, signal and utility
relocations as necessary for street widening.
STAFF RECOf~4ENDATION
It is recommended that City Council approve the Environmental Assessment
and issuance of a Negative Declaration for the proposed Haven Avenue
Rehabilitation Project.
A copy of the Environmental Assessment can be reviewed at the City of
Rancho Cucamonga Engineering Division Office located at the City Hall
address. Written comments should be addressed to the Design Engineering
Division, City of Rancho Cucamonga, P.O. Box 807, Rancho Cucamonga,
California, 91730, or phoned at (714) 989-1862, extension 2372. In
addition, concerns can be addressed to the City Council publicly at the
meeting time previously mentioned. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
and shall take place at City Hall Council Chambers, 10500 Civic Center
Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
