A RESOLUI~ON OF THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
O3CAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR WORKERS '
CCMP~SATION COVERagE FOR VOLUNTEER PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga desires to provide Workers'
Co~ensation Insurance coverage for persons authorized to perform volunteer
services for the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve and adopts the policy that an unsalaried person as designated
and authorized by the City to perform volunteer service for the City shall be
deemed to be an employee of the City for the purpose of Workers' Compensation
Insurance benefits provided for by law for any injury sustained by him or her
while acting in the course and scope of the authorized services of the City
under the direction and control of the City.
