WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga did on the
6th day of June, 1990, conduct a duly noticed public hearir~ to consider
autharizir~ the financing of the construction and installation of certain
additional landscaping improv~ments to benefit the properties within Tand-~ape
Maintenance District No. 1 (the "District") and to authorize the levy of
assessme~t~ within the District to finance such costs; and
WHEREAS, evidence was suh~i~ at the public hearing that the
estimated cost of the proposed additional im~cov~ents is greater than can be
conveniently raised frc~ a single annual assessment; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City temporarily advanoe to the
Im~x~m~m~nt Fund of the District sufficient funds to finance the oonstruction
and installation of the proposed additional improvements, such advance to be
repaid from the next annual assessments levied and collected within the
District.
NOW, THeREFOr, the City Council of the City of Ranch (~ does
hereby resolve as follow~:
SECTION 1: The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
SECTION 2: This legislative body hereby approves a tsmporary advance
to the Improvement Fund of Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 to finance
those certain additional landscaping impr~ts specified in the "Annual
Engineer's Report - Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 (General City)" or
Fiscal Year 1990/91, the original of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
SECTION 3: This City Oouncil hereby determ/ne~ that the estimated
cost of the proposed additional impro%~m~nts is greater than can be conve-
niently raised from a single annual assessment and, therefore, orders that the
estimated cost of $50,000.00 shall be raised by an assessment levy and
collected in installments over a period of five (5) fiscal years.
