FIRE PROTECTION SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MINUTES
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Rancho Cucamonga City Council and Fire Protection District held a special closed session on Friday,
August 13, 2004, in the Tapia Room of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho
Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 a.m. by MayodPresident William J.
Alexander.
Present were Councilmembers/Boardmembers: Rex Gutierrez, Robert J. Howdyshell, Donald J. Kur~h,
M.D., Diane Williams and MayodPresident William J. Alexander.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Larry Temple, Administrative Services Director; Tamara
Layne, Finance Officer; and Duane Baker, Assistant to the City Manager.

Mayor/President Alexander announced the closed session item.
