A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
VACATE A PORTION OF SAN BERNARDINO ROAD EAST OF
THE FOOTHILL BOULEVARD SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION
FRONTING 8333, 8363 FOOTHILL BOULEVARD AND 8351 SAN
BERNARDINO ROAD- APN'S 207-571-76,77,78
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under Section 8300,
et. Seq., of the Streets and Highways Code, also known as the
Street Vacation Act of 1941.
SECTION 2:
That the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate San
Bernardino Road east of the Foothill Boulevard signalized
intersection as shown on Map V-151, on file in the Office of the City
Clerk, legal descriptions, reservation and detailed sketches of which
are attached hereto marked Exhibits "A" and "B".
SECTION 3:
That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 2nd day of
September, 1998 at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers,
located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California,
as the time and place for hearing all persons objecting to the
proposed vacation for the purpose of its determining whether said
City streets are necessary for present or prospective street
purposes.
SECTION 4:
That the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices to be posted
conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof proposed
to be vacated at least 14 days before the hearing, not more than 300
feet apart and not less than three signs shall be posted, each of
which shall have a copy of this resolution on them and shall have the
following title in lettering not less than one inch in height: "NOTICE
OF HEARING TO VACATE STREET".
SECTION 5: The subject vacation shall be reserved as a public utility easement.
SECTION 6:
The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest
to the same, and the City Clerk cause same to be published 14 days
before the date set for the hearing, at least once in the Inland Valley
Daily Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation published in the
City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California.

CUCAMONGA LANDS, IN THE CITY OF RANCHO_ CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA AS PER PLAT RECORDED IN BOOK 4,
PAGE 9 OF MAPS, RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 6; THENCE SOUTH
0°12'30' WEST ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT, 55.32 FEET TO THE
BEGINNING OF A NON-TANGENT CURVE CONCAVE TO THE NORTHWEST AND
