HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-05 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 78-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE ZONE CHANGE NO. 123-81 TO ORDINANCE NO. 17 BY CH~GING THE ZONE FROM A-1 TO C-2 FOR THE FRONT 300 FEET OF THE PROJECT SITE A_ND M-1 FOR THE REMAINING PORTION LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD WEST OF INTERSTATE 15 AND SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A". WHEREAS, on the 24 day of May, 1978, an application was filed and accepted on the above described project; and WHEREAS, on the 13th day of September, 1978, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California Government Code; and WHEREAS, on the 13th day of September, 1978, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga finds: 1. That the subject property is suitable for the uses permitted in in the proposed zone in terms of access, size, and compatibility with existing land uses in the surrounding area; and 2. That the proposed zone change would not have a significant impact on the environment nor the surrounding properties. 3. That the proposed zone change is in conformance with the proposed General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the California Government code, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby recommends approval on the 13th day of September, 1978, Zone Change No. 123-81 which is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council approve and adopt Zone Change No. 123-81 3. That a certified copy of this resolution and related material hereby adopted by the Planning Commission shall be transmitted to the City Council. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 13th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1978.
