HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-69 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 79-69 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION CERTIFYING THE ENVIROBIMEIffAL IMPACT REPORT ON THE PLUESS-STAUFER LIMESTONE PROCES- SING FACILITY WHEREAS, Pluess-Staufer, Inc. has requested review and approval for the development of a limestone processing facility and the City has caused the pre- paration of an Environmental Impact Report to analyze the impacts of such a project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Cor~nission has duly held an advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 15085 of the California Administrative Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered public testimony and comments and has incorporated such comments into the Final EIR: and WHEREAS, Environmental I~npact Report was prepared as an informational docu- ment for the Commission in order to provide sufficient information to allow a decision to be made on this project. SECTION 1. The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the following findings: 1. That the Environmental Impact Report was completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and the State EIR Guidelines. 2. That the Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information contained in the EIR prior to making any decisions on the project. 3. That the information contained in the EIR is sufficient in order to permit the Planning Commission to make a final decision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That pursuant to Section 15085 to 15088 of the California Administrative Code, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby certifies the Environmental Impact Report on the Pluess-Staufer Limestone Processing Facility on the 19th day of November, 1979. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 19TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1979. Herman R e~e~, I, JACK LAM, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Conmission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 19th day of November, 1979.
