A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ZONE CHANGE
NO. 79-06 REQUESTING A CHANGE IN THE ZONING FROM
M-R TO M-1 FOR 18.75 ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF 8TH STREET, EAST OF HELLMAN AVENUE -
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NOS. 209-171-07, 20
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of May, 1979, an application was filed and
accepted on the above described project; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of June, 1979, the Planning Commission
held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the
California Government Code.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the
following findings:
1. That the subject property is suitable for the uses
permitted in the proposed zone in terms of access,
size, and compatibility with existing land use in
the surrounding area;
2. The proposed zone change would not have significant
impact on the environment nor the surrounding pro-
perties; and
3. That the proposed zone change is in conformance with
the proposed General Plan.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found that
this project will not create a ,significant adverse impact on the
environment and has issued a Negative Declaration on June 27, 1979.
SECTION 3: That the Planning Commission sets the following condition
on this project:
1. That a voluntary contractual agreement between the
applicant and the City be initiated by the applicant
limiting the uses of the property to those outlined
in Section 61.029A(b) of the Zoning Ordinance prior
to consideration by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the Planning Commis-
sion of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby recommends
approval on the 27th day of June, 1979, Zone Change
No. 79-06.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the
City Council approve and adopt Zone Change No. 79-06.
3. That a Certified Copy of this Resolution and related
material hereby adopted by the Planning Commission
shall be forwarded to the City Council.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced,
passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga at
a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 27th day of June, 1979,
by the following vote to-wit:
