A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE UPDATED ETIWANDA/SAN
SEVAINE AREA MASTER PLAN OF DRAINAGE REPORT AND ADOPTING
THE ETIWANDA/SAN SEVAINE AREA DRAINAGE-PObI,CY.
WHEREASj the City Council for .the~ Ci.ty of Rancho Cuca_mong9 recognizes
that the public health and safety~'f6qui6e' th6{. ad'eqdate flood control and
drainage' facilities'accompany add'itfonal~ l~nd,~ dev~eiop~nen~t; and
WHEREAS, on Febru:~ry ~, 1989~'t)~J Cil~y C~unci'l '~adopted. the' Etiwanda/
San Sevaine Area Master Plan of Drainage Report; and
WH~REA'S,-minor alterations of a't~6chnical' n~aturJ have oc~urrJd since
that adoption which have warranted a need for the City Council to adopt an
updated version of that plan; and
WHEREAS, to adequa.tely provide guidance to developers and property
owners, it is desirable to establish an Etiwanda/San Sevaine Area Drainage
Policy based on said Master Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council adopts the updated Etiwanda/San
Sevaine Area Master Plan of Drainage Report.
SECTION 2: That the City Council adopts the Etiwanda/San Sevaine
Area Drainage Policy.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution supercedes Resolution 85-100 for the
adoption of the Interim Etiwanda Drainage Plan and Development Policies.
SECTION 4: That the City Engineer may make minor modifications of a
technical nature to said Plan and Policy upon more detailed reviews of the
physical characteristics and hydrology/hydraulic analyses within the
Etiwanda/San Sevaine Area.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1989.
