A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING TRACT
MAP NUMBER 16227, IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT, AND
SECURITY
WHEREAS, Tentative Tract Map 16227, submitted by BCA Development, and
consisting of 367 lots located north of Wilson Avenue, east of Day Creek Boulevard and west of
Etiwanda Avenue, was approved by the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga on July 24, 2002, and is in compliance with the State Subdivision Map Act and
Local Ordinance No. 28 adopted pursuant to that Act; and
WHEREAS, Tract Map 16227 is the first of three final maps of the division of
land approved as shown on the Tentative Tract Map; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements established as prerequisite to approval of the
final map by the City Council of said City have now been met by entry into an Improvement
Agreement guaranteed by acceptable Improvement Security by K. Hovnanian at Rancho
Etiwanda, LLC, Inc. as developer; and
WHEREAS, said Developer submits for approval said Tract Map offering for
dedication, for street, highway and related purposes, the streets delineated thereon and the
easements dedicated thereon for storm drain, sidewalk, street tree and landscape purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, HEREBY RESOLVES, that said Improvement Agreement and said
Improvement Security submitted by said developer be and the same are hereby approved and
the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said Improvement Agreement on behalf of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, and the City Clerk to attest; and that the offers for dedication, easements
and the final map delineating the same for said Tract Map No. 16227 is hereby approved and
the City Engineer is authorized to present same to the County Recorder to be filed for record.
