A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA AND THE COUNTY OF SAN
BERNARDINO FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENVIRONMENTAL,
SURVEY AND DESIGN WORK FOR THE PROPOSED WILSON
AVENUE EXTENSION FROM MILLIKEN AVENUE TO DAY
CREEK BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has for its
consideration a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the
County of San Bernardino for the purpose of environmental, survey and design work for the
proposed Wilson Avenue Extension from Milliken Avenue to Day Creek Boulevard;
WHEREAS, the City desires to proceed with the environmental, survey and
design work for the proposed extension of Wilson Avenue from Milliken Avenue to Day Creek
Boulevard (hereinafter referred to as Project);
WHEREAS, this extension Project will be of mutual benefit to the County and the
City; and
WHEREAS, the County will contribute to the City an amount not to exceed
$200,000 in total for all work related to this Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, hereby resolves that said Cooperative Agreement between the County of San
Bernardino and City for the purpose of environmental, survey and design work for the proposed
Wilson Avenue Extension from Milliken Avenue to Day Creek Boulevard be hereby approved
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said Agreement on behalf of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, and the City Clerk to attest thereto.
