A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA FOR BICYCLE TRANSPORTATION ACCOUNT
FUND GRANT, LOCAL AGENCY — STATE AGREEMENT, FOR
PHASE V OF THE PACIFIC ELECTRIC TRAIL, "RAILS TO
TRAILS", FROM EAST OF ETIWANDA AVENUE TO THE EAST
CITY LIMIT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has for its
consideration an Agreement between the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the State of
California, a Local Agency — State Agency Agreement, for a grant of Bicycle Transportation
Account (BTA) Funds for the design and construction of Phase V of the Pacific Electric Trail,
from east of Etiwanda Avenue to the east city limits; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement is for the reimbursement of up to 89% of local funds
to be expended on the design and construction of the trail, as invoiced by the City prior to April
1, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, hereby resolves that said Agreement for reimbursement of the design and
construction of Phase V of the Pacific Electric Trail, from Etiwanda Avenue to the East City Limit
be hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said Agreement on behalf of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga.
