A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE
MEMBERS OF THE RELOCATION APPEALS BOARD FOR
THE CITY AND REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA
WHEREAS, on December 7, 2005, the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Rancho Cucamonga adopted "Rules and Regulations for
Implementation of the California Relocation Assistance Law and Real Property Acquisition
Guidelines" ("Rules and Regulations") by consent calendar; and
WHEREAS, the Rules and Regulations provide for an appeals procedure in the
event a displaced person is not satisfied with a determination as to eligibility, amount of
payment, adequacy of comparable permanent or adequate temporary replacement housing or
the Agency's property management practices or application of regulations; and
WHEREAS, Section 204 of the Rules and Regulations provide that the
Relocation Appeals Board shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval of the City
Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 204 OF THE RULES
AND REGULATIONS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA,
WITH APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the individuals holding the following positions: (1) City
Engineer; (2) Library Director; (3) Planning Director; (4) Building
and Safety Official; and (5) Police Captain, each of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, are hereby collectively established as the
Relocation Appeals Board for appeals from both the City of
Rancho Cucamonga and the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Rancho Cucamonga. In the event one of the above-listed
individuals is unable to sit on the Relocation Appeals Board, the
individuals holding the positions of Redevelopment Director and
Deputy City Manager/Community Development, will serve as
alternates thereto.
