SPECIAL MEETING
A. CALL TO ORDER
A special meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council, Fire Protection District and Redevelopment Agency
was held on Friday, January 12, 2007, in the Creative Corner Room at Central Park Community Center
located at 11200 Base Line Road, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor/Chairman/President Donald J.
Kurth, M.D. called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Present were Councilmembers/Boardmembers/Agencymembers: Rex Gutierrez; L. Dennis Michael, Sam
Spagnolo, Mayor Pro TemNice Chairman/Vice President Diane Williams, and Mayor/President/Chairman
Donald J. Kurth.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager/Executive Director, Pamela Easter, Assistant City Manager; and
James Markman, City Attorney/Legal Counsel.
B. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
No communication was made from the public.
C. ITEM(S) OF BUSINESS
C1. DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS, CONSENSUS
BUILDING, TEAM BUILDING AND GOAL SETTING - Dr. Bill Mathis Facilitator
Dr. Bill Mathis, Facilitator, led the discussion.
D. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned to Saturday, January 13, 2007, 8:00 a.m. at the Rancho Cucamonga Cultural Center -
Celebration Hall, located at 12505 Cultural Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California, to continue the goal
setting discussions with staff. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.

The special meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Ccuncil, Fire Protection District and Redevelopment
Agency held Friday, January 12, 2007 reconvened on Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the Rancho Cucamonga
Cultural Center -Celebration Hall -located at 12505 Cultural Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Secretary/Assistant Secretary.
