A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
ENVIRONMENTAL INITIAL STUDY PARTS I AND II AND
ISSUANCE OF A CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION FOR THE
PROPOSED RAISED CURB MEDIANS FROM VINEYARD
AVENUE TO HAVEN AVENUE ~ONG FOOTHILL BLVD.,
INCLUDING DEER CREEK CHANNEL BRIDGE WIDENING
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has reviewed all
available input concerning the proposed improvements; and
WHEREAS, said improvements require an Environmental Assessment; and
WHEREAS, the proposed construction of improvements are in conformance with
the California Environmental Quality Act and State Guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Approve the Environmental Assessment and Notice of
Categorical Exemption for the proposed raised curb medians
with landscape and bridge widening.
SECTION 2. Direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Categorical Exemption
pursuant to the Public Resources Code 21080 et seq, State
California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section
15300 et seq and other provisions of state law.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1998.
