Per Council's direction, on March 27th, staf! contacted Mr. Bothel by phone to insure that he had received the information and to request any comments the BIA might have regarding the item be received by the City in writing no later than Monday, April lat. No written comments were received Prom the BIA by this date. Tuesday morning, April 2nd, staff received a phone call from Frank Williams, newly appointed Legislative Advocate for the BIA. Monday was his first day on the job. He stated that the Park Fee Update had been assigned to him and he requested that he be able to provide written comments by Tuesday, 5 P.M. No comments were received. In phone conversation Wednesday morning, April 3rd, Mr. Williams indicated that he would be requesting a continuance oP the Public Hearing. Staff reminded him that the item was originally on the March 20th City Council Agenda and at that time a Public Hearing had been set for April 3rd.
