CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council was held on Monday, June 25, 2007, in the Tapia Room at the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor Pro TemNice ChairmanNice President Diane Williams called the meeting to order at 3:40 p.m. Present were Councilmembers/Boardmembers/Agencymembers: Rex Gutierrez; L. Dennis Michael, Sam Spagnolo, and Mayor Pro TemNice ChairmanNice President Diane Williams. Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager/Executive Director, Pamela Easter, Assistant City Manager; Linda D. Daniels, Redevelopment Director; Mahdi Aluzri, Deputy City Manager/Community Development; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; James Troyer, Planning Director; John Gillison, Deputy City Manager/Administrative Services; Kevin McArdle, Community Services Director; Fire Chief Peter Bryan, Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District; and Kimberly Thomas, Management Analyst III. Absent was: Mayor/PresidenVChairman Donald J. Kurth B. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS No communication was made from the public. C. ITEM(S) OF BUSINESS C1. City Council Bus Tour visiting various sites within the City of Rancho Cucamonga including: A. Begin at Rancho Cucamonga City Hall, 10500 Civic Center Drive B. Municipal Utility Substation, 8203 Rochester Avenue C. Arrow and I-15 Freeway east area D. San Sevaine Flood Control project and Workforce Development Project (San Sevaine Villas), SW corner of Foothill and East Avenue E. Etiwanda Creek Park, 5939 East Avenue F. Sphere Area north and east of Los Osos High School G. Police Substation project, area of Milliken Avenue and Grizzly H. Pacific Electric Trail, Central Park portion west of Milliken I. Central Park, 11200 Base Line Road J. Fire Station 177 Site (Hellman Avenue, between Wilson and Banyan) K. Foothill Boulevard Street Improvements (between Grove and Vineyard) L. City Corporate Yard, 9153 9"Street M. Haven Avenue Office Development (at Fourth Street) (This site was not visited.) N. Workforce Development Project, Foothill Boulevard between Hermosa and Center Avenues O. End at Rancho Cucamonga City Hall, 10500 Civic Center Drive The City Council and staff toured the sites as described above. Special City Council Meeting June 25, 2007 Page 2 D.
