A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, PERMITTING MAYOR
KURTH TO HAVE BEEN ABSENT FROM THE REGULAR
COUNCIL MEETINGS OF JUNE 6, 2007, JUNE 20, 2007 AND
JULY 18, 2007
A. RECITALS.
(i) California Government Code sections 1770(g) and 36513(a) require that this
Council permit one if its members to be absent from regular meetings of this
Council in order to prevent the Council office in issue from being considered
to be vacated.
(ii) On June 4, 2007, Mayor Donald Kurth underwent surgery and, as a result
thereof, experienced illness which prevent him from attending regular
meetings of this Council which occurred during June and July of 2007 and it
is the purpose of this Resolution to permit Mayor Kurth's absences from
those meetings due to his illness.
B. RESOLUTION.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT HEREBY IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND RESOLVED
as follows:
1. All of the facts stated in the Recitals, Part A of this Resolution, are true and
correct.
2. This Council hereby permits Mayor Donald Kurth to have been absent from
the regular meetings of this Council which occurred on June 6, 2007, June
20, 2007 and July 18, 2007 due to Mayor Kurth's illness.
