1. CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned meeting of the City Council of [he City of Ravcho Cucamonga met on
Friday, Nay 3, 1985 in the Liove Park Community Center, 9161 Base Line Road.
The meeting vas called to order at 6:10 p. m, by Mayor Jon D. Mikele.
Present were Councilmembera: Panels J. Wright, Charles J. Buquet II, Richard
N. Dahl, Jeffery Ring, and Mayor Jon D. Mikele.
Also present were: City Nanage r, Lfluren N, Yaeeerman, and Deputy Ci [y Clerk,
Ra rev E. Paul.

2A. STATUS OF MR. PBILIP YENOYRIAN ON THE ADVISORY COMMISSION (1)
NOTION: Moved by Mikels, ee conded by Ring to remove Philip Yenovki an tram the
Adv is oty Commission.
Mayor Mikele asked for die cuseion by Council.
Counci lvoman Wright read her eta Cement in favor of leaving Philip Yenwkian on
[he Adv ie ory Commis ei on.
Councilman Buquet disagreed and ezpressed he vas in favor of remw ing Philip
Ye novkian from the Advisory Co®ie ai on.
Councilman Dahl stated he bad mixed emo[i one on this issue, but came to Che
decision to remove Phil Yenwkian Erom the Advisory Commiaei on. fle stated that
he felt that Phil Yenovki an, ae a citizen, has a right to get up and say what
he wants to. 0o the other band, knav iog that if he had a problem, or the
citizens bad a problem, with the tree ordinance, which they feel is
ineffective, then he ee a member of the Advisory Cammiss ion had the ability [o
refer [hat item to [he Advisory Cammiesi on along with hie concerns or the
ve ighbor'a concerns. Then the Commie eion could have made a recommendation to
[he Council. ee did no[ choose to operate in chat manner. He chose to attempt

Mayor Mikele opened the meeting for public input. Address ing Council were:
Debby Egge Teton, 7165 Teakvay, expressed she was not in favor of Phil's
removal from the Adv ivory Commieei on.
Jim Hanks stated he Fel[ Phil vas acting ae a private citizen and no[ ae a
member of the Advisory Co®iesion. Ae eapr eased he vas not in favor of
Phil's removal from the Adv ivory Cvmmiasioa.
There being no further public input, Mayor Mikele cl oeed [he meeting.
ACTION: Previous motion to remove Philip Yenovki en From the Advisory
Commisei on. Carried 4-1 (Nright voted no).
