AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY O0UNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
~, CAT.TFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTt~ 1.12 OF THE
RANC~O CUCAH)NGA MUNICIPAL CODE AND ESTABLISHINS A NEW
FUTURE MDDIFICAT/ONS BY RESOLUIION
A. ..Recitals.
(i) The City COuncil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga ba-~ baretofore
decided to process parking citations issued by the San Bernardino County
Sheriff's Department within City's corporate limits.
(ii) Section 40203.5 of the California Vehicle code requires the
City of Ranc/~o Cucamonga to adopt those parking violation bail amounts as have
been approved by the Municipal and/or Superior Courts for the County of San
Bernardino.
(iii) All legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Ordinance have
Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ram_ho Cucamonga does
hereby ordain as follcyws:
SECTION 1: In all respects as set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of
this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
adopts as its bail schedule the bail schedule attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
together with each bail ameint set forth therein.
SEelION 3: The bail schedule set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto may be modified from time to time by Resolution of the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
SECTION 4: A new Section 1.12,030D is hereby added to Section
1.12.030 of Chapter 1.12 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code to read, in
words and figures, as follows:
"D. A fine as established in the most recently adopted Uniform
Bail Schedule when the infraction is based upon a violation of any
provisions of this Code regulating parking, standing or stopping of
motor vehicles, and a specific bail or fine ha-~ been set with respect
to the section so violated. This Section D shall supersede all other
penalty provisions pertainir~ to parking, stopping and standing of
motor vehicles contained in this Code."

S~"F/ON 6: The Mayor shall sign this Ord/nance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its
passage at least once in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and
circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
