A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR
DRC2006 -00866
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, has determined that the project DRC2006-00866, located on the north side of
6th Street, west of Etiwanda Avenue, is categorically exempt from the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the City's CEQA Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the project qualifies as a Class 1 (c) exemption under State
CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 covers minor alterations in existing street; and
WHEREAS, the project entails an installation of a Traffic Signal at
Etiwanda Avenue and 6th Street and construction of public improvements at the 6th
Street railroad crossing; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
1. That there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a
significant effect on the environment; and
2. That said installation of said public improvements is categorically
exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
